AADL 3 home distribution starts on Sunday in 12 wilayas

The ministry plans to hand over 133,780 homes of all kinds, including 3,789 AADL 3 homes.
The distribution of the first AADL 3 homes starts on Sunday in 12 wilayas, the housing ministry announced on Saturday.
Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, Minister of Habitat, Urban Planning, the City and Territorial Planning, chaired a national meeting at his ministry's headquarters. Sector officials, wilaya directors and heads of agencies under the ministry attended, in person and by video conference.
Algérie Eco, citing the Algeria Press Service (APS), reported that the meeting was held to announce the distribution of 133,780 homes of all kinds. Of these, 3,789 units belong to the AADL 3 programme, which has drawn strong interest from citizens.
The total number of homes planned under the programme is estimated at 850,000. These homes are included in the finance laws for 2025, 2026 and 2027.
The 133,780 homes include 36,865 public rental homes, 36,382 self-build units in social plots and 27,440 rural homes. The other categories are 17,538 free promotional homes, 11,566 subsidised promotional homes and 200 public promotional homes.
The AADL 3 subscription opened in July 2024. Files were examined in 2025, and the sector then began handing over homes in what the minister called record time.
The minister said the operation is a real starting point for a distribution process that will continue in the coming stages. He said success is measured not only by the size of announced projects, but also by delivery on the ground and handover on time.
He asked sector staff to keep working with discipline and coordination, and to prepare the programmes planned for 2027 well.
The programme is part of a national housing plan decided by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which aims to build and distribute 2 million homes from 2025 to 2029. The minister said this reflects the state's commitment to keep strengthening the social character of its housing policy.
