Chetaïbi

Chetaïbi is a small fishing port in the wilaya of Annaba, set in a deep bay on the coast. The commune forms a daira, or district, on its own. It had 8,035 inhabitants at the 2008 census (ONS). In Roman times the town was called Tacatua. People in Annaba also know it by its old name, Takouche.
