The eighth edition of the national Golden Microphone Competition for creative event hosts is being held in Blida province, on a new date announced after the event's calendar was changed.
The competition aims to discover young talent in hosting, presenting, communication and speaking in front of an audience. Participants have the chance to show their ability to host cultural, scientific, youth and artistic events, and to develop stage presence, improvisation, diction, charisma and audience interaction.
It brings together contestants from across Algeria's wilayas after selection and qualifying rounds. They compete in a positive atmosphere, exchange experience and present their skills to specialist panels.
The programme is as follows: from 19 to 23 December 2026, in Blida.
