Air Algérie has an office at 17 to 19 boulevard Maurice Bourdet, in the 1st arrondissement. In summer 2022, Algérie Ferries linked Marseille by sea with Oran, Béjaïa and Skikda.
BEA International Bank, the French subsidiary of the Banque Extérieure d'Algérie, has a branch at 180 avenue du Prado. The branch was inaugurated in January 2026. For a long time, Marseille was a centre of informal trade with the Maghreb, linked to the Algerian community.
