What this means for you

Algerians who live abroad and come home to live for good can already bring some vehicles with tax advantages. The draft 2027 budget would add hybrid goods vehicles of up to 5.95 tonnes, and two-wheelers, to that list. Goods over the allowed limits would pay a flat tax of 60% of their value. This is only a proposal: parliament has not voted it.
