Draft 2027 budget: car tax of up to 40,000 DA for large engines
What this means for you
Today, the yearly car tax sticker (vignette) for a car of 10 CV or more costs 25,000 DA under 3 years old, and 20,000 DA from 3 to 6 years old. The draft 2027 budget would raise these to 40,000 DA and 30,000 DA. Other cars would pay the same as now. This is only a proposal: parliament has not voted it.
