The seventh edition of the Patriotic Songs Festival takes place in Tizi Ouzou on 30 October, 31 October and 1 November 2026.
The seventh edition of the Patriotic Songs Festival is organised by the Tizi Ouzou wilaya youth and sports directorate, with the National Office of Youth Institutions, the multi-purpose hall of Tizi Ghenif and the "Al-Amal" cultural association of Tizi Ghenif.
The festival runs over three days: 30 October, 31 October and 1 November 2026. It takes place under the slogan "We sing for the homeland... faithful to history", marking the anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious War of Liberation.
Several vocal groups and choral ensembles take part, performing national works inspired by Algeria's history and the struggle of the Algerian people. The programme combines group performance, national songs and cultural activities linked to national memory. The festival also aims to encourage young talent and to exchange experiences between the participating groups.
