Berrahal

Berrahal is a commune of the wilaya of Annaba and the seat of a daira, or district, that also includes Oued El Aneb and Treat. Lake Fetzara, a wetland of international importance, lies on its land. It had 22,631 inhabitants at the 2008 census (ONS). Under French rule the town was called Aïn Mokra, and its railway station carried the same name. Berrahal has a railway station on the line from Ramdane Djamel to Annaba.
