About Memorial plaque and stele for 17 October 1961

A memorial plaque and a stele at the corner of the Pont Saint-Michel and the Quai du Marché-Neuf, in the 4th arrondissement. The plaque, placed in 2001, and the stele, added in 2019, honour the Algerians who died on 17 October 1961. The City of Paris lays a wreath here every 17 October.
