Each local agency will get a digital space, where staff help retirees use online services.

The National Retirement Fund (CNR) has launched Takaoudi All in One, a digital counter to help retirees and their dependants do administrative tasks in Algeria.

DNAlgerie reported that the fund announced the launch in a statement published on its Facebook page on 21 October.

The service was presented at the close of a national seminar for communication officers from the fund's local agencies. The seminar was organised with the Directorate of IT and Organisation and included practical workshops on digital tools.

What changes for retirees

Abdelhafid Adrar, director general of the CNR, said the project includes a digital space in each local agency, with a common visual identity. Communication officers will supervise these spaces and guide retirees to the right services.

Retirees who visit an agency can be welcomed, have their needs identified and be directed to suitable services. Staff can help users download the Takaoudi mobile app, create a personal account and learn the features available online.

The aim is to let retirees complete a growing number of tasks from a distance, without always going to an agency. Fewer visits to agencies could also help reduce crowds at physical counters.

The service relies on human support as well as online platforms. For people less familiar with digital tools, this help should make first steps easier and let them become more independent over time.

Adrar said people need easier access to online services, especially those who find new technology hard. He also asked for the training to continue, to build the skills of communication officers and improve support in agencies.

What is already available

The new counter will build on electronic services the fund already offers. The CNR currently offers more than 19 digital services for retirees and their dependants.

These services cover different tasks, including managing files and following administrative information. One is the Individual Employee Account (CIS), which lets workers check their career details before they retire.

This helps future retirees prepare the steps needed to build their file.
