Financing for student inventions has helped fund nearly 1,000 innovative projects.

The Prime Minister's services said in a statement that the meeting also looked at innovation, the environment and sports facilities. The government also reviewed the efforts being made to digitalise investment data.

The census follows instructions from the President for an immediate start to a census of industrial property across the country. The data will be put at the disposal of the one-stop window.

According to the statement, the census will produce a clear map of economic property. It will separate new investment projects from expansion projects, which would allow economic operators to be supported and the obstacles they face to be removed.

The government also heard a presentation on ways to finance projects that students have invented and that can be manufactured and sold. The mechanisms aim to support students in turning their ideas into their own companies.

The statement said these mechanisms have financed nearly 1,000 innovative projects. They aim to value the innovative abilities of students, graduates and doctoral students within universities.

The government reviewed the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change to 2035. The plan complements Algeria's nationally determined contribution, which the country submitted to United Nations bodies in June.

The plan sets out priorities and measures to help the country face the effects of climate change. It also aims to include adaptation in public policies.

At the end of the meeting, the government studied practical steps for building several multi-sports complexes and Olympic villages. The aim is to promote sport and strengthen the country's ability to host major sports events.
