President Tebboune called voters to elect a new National People's Assembly on Thursday 2 July 2026. An exceptional revision of the voters' lists opened on 12 April.
The call was made by presidential decree 26-145 of 4 April 2026, published in Official Journal no. 24. In Algeria and at consulates abroad, people not yet registered could sign up during the revision period.
Consulates such as Nantes ran it from 12 to 26 April.
