The Council of Ministers created a High Council of the National Scientific Community Abroad. The new body will advise the Presidency and bring Algerian researchers abroad into national projects.

President Tebboune chaired the meeting on Sunday 21 June. The new council is a consultative body attached to the Presidency, with its own autonomy.

The same meeting created a National Archaeology Agency, reviewed the new National Digital Services Portal, measures against forest fires, and the financing of the first section of the Laghouat to El Meniaa railway.

The president also asked for an Algerian-Chinese company to clean the country's ports, starting after the Annaba port extension is finished. He congratulated the Finance Minister and the Governor of the Bank of Algeria on Algeria's removal from the FATF grey list.
