About National Higher School of Agronomy
A national higher school of agronomy, the science of farming, in the Hassen Badi area of El-Harrach. Visitors appreciate the clean, beautiful campus and its wide green spaces.
The École nationale supérieure agronomique began in 1905 as the École d'agriculture algérienne at Maison-Carrée. This school of agriculture developed from an earlier practical farming school at Rouïba. The school closed from 1914 to 1919, then became the Institut agricole d'Algérie in 1921 and later the Institut national agronomique.
