ISIA'26 computing symposium at Mohamed Boudiaf University, M'Sila

The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Mohamed Boudiaf University in M'Sila hosts the seventh edition of the International Symposium on Computing and its Applications (ISIA'26). The symposium is organised by the Laboratory of Computing and its Applications (LIAM), in collaboration with the Algerian Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ASIAM).

The event is held under the honorary presidency of Professor Amar Boudelaa, Rector of the University. Professor Hichem Debbi chairs the general organisation, and Professor Lamri Sayad chairs the scientific committee.

The symposium follows six earlier editions held in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024. It is intended as a meeting point for researchers and practitioners in computing, who can exchange ideas, present recent work and share experience.

The 2026 edition covers eight themes: artificial intelligence and machine learning, data science and big data, computer networks, software engineering, databases and information retrieval, cybersecurity, optimisation and operational research, and bioinformatics. The international scientific committee includes experts from universities in Algeria, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Libya and Hungary.

Authors were invited to submit original papers of six pages in IEEE double-column format, under double-blind review, through the Microsoft CMT conference system. Accepted and presented papers are to be published in the official proceedings, which will be submitted for indexing.
