The Algerian Society of Nutrition holds its 6th International Congress, "Lifestyle and Health", in Constantine from 6 to 8 November 2026.
The Algerian Society of Nutrition (SAN) holds the 6th edition of its International Congress, CI-SAN 2026, in Constantine from 6 to 8 November 2026, under the central theme "Lifestyle and Health".
The scientific event brings together national and international experts, researchers, doctors, pharmacists, nutritionists, biotechnologists, doctoral students and professionals from the health, food industry and research sectors. Over three days it offers a forum on the links between lifestyle, diet, nutrition and health.
The programme covers public health, obesity, cardiometabolic syndrome, diabetes, nutrition-related cancers, food allergies, coeliac disease, phytotherapy, the microbiome, school health, fasting and nutritional care for various chronic conditions. The edition also highlights Mediterranean products and Algerian regional produce through dedicated workshops, and showcases innovative nutrition initiatives, specialist start-ups and projects led by young researchers.
Plenary lectures, symposiums, scientific presentations and discussion sessions will present recent research and new approaches to prevention and health promotion.
The congress takes place in Constantine.
