Sidi Moussa

Sidi Moussa (in Arabic سيدي موسى) is a town on the Mitidja plain, south of Algiers, at about 46 m above sea level. It belongs to the Baraki circonscription administrative, one of the 13 groups of communes created by decree 26-112 of 8 March 2026. By land area it is the largest of the 57 communes of the wilaya. It had 40,750 inhabitants at the 2008 census (ONS).
