About Aïn Taya
Aïn Taya is a seaside commune on the Bay of Algiers, about 30 km east of the city centre. It belongs to the Rouïba circonscription administrative, one of 13 groups of communes created by decree 26-112 of 8 March 2026. The decree moved Aïn Taya there from the Dar El Beïda group. It had 34,501 inhabitants at the 2008 census (ONS).
