One of the best known cemeteries of Algiers, on a steep slope between the upper Casbah and Bab El Oued, in Oued Koriche. Many chaabi musicians, who play a popular music of Algiers, are buried here, along with other artists.
El Kettar cemetery, one of the best known cemeteries of Algiers, lies on a steep slope that descends towards Bab El Oued. Its lower part opens onto Oued Koriche near the Climat de France estate.
