About Es Sénia
Es Sénia lies south of the city of Oran. It is the seat of the daira, or district, of Es Sénia, which also includes El Kerma and Sidi Chami. The commune had 96,928 inhabitants at the 2008 census (ONS). In colonial times the name was written La Sénia. Its places include Oran Ahmed Ben Bella Airport, the University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella, Es Sénia station and the Es Sénia industrial zone.
