The heavy vehicle plant of SNVI, the national industrial vehicles company, in Rouïba, where trucks and buses are assembled. It took over from the Berliet factory founded in 1957. It is not open to the public.
The national industrial vehicle maker SNVI has a large truck and bus plant in Rouïba, not open to the public. The company descends from the Société Africaine des Automobiles Berliet, which came to Algeria in 1957. Its activities passed to SONACOME in 1967, and SNVI was created in 1981 to build vehicles.
