The multipurpose port of Oran, on Rue du 20 Août. It is the first deep-water port after the Strait of Gibraltar, with a maritime station for ferry passengers. Visitors enjoy the views of the coast and of the Santa Cruz fort and church, and early risers come to buy fish.
