About Former Prefecture of Oran

The former prefecture of Oran, on Place Hasni Boudali, formerly Place Kléber, in the old quarter of Sidi El Houari. The building dates from 1852. It housed the prefecture until 1958, when the administration moved to a new building, today the seat of the wilaya. Sidi El Houari has been a protected historic sector since 2015.
