By road
A new road of 26 km links the port of Oran with the East West motorway. Its first section, 8 km long, opened on 8 August 2024.
By rail
Oued Tlelat lies on the historic railway from Oran to Sidi Bel Abbès and Tlemcen. The town is also the starting point of a new electrified line of 132 km to Tlemcen, which was under construction in 2025.
