A scientific congress bringing doctors and researchers together in Algiers from 5 to 7 November on obesity and metabolic diseases.
The Algerian Society of Obesity and Metabolic Diseases (SAOMM) is holding its 5th International Congress on Obesity and Metabolic Diseases in Algiers, from 5 to 7 November.
The congress is aimed at endocrinologists, internists, nutritionists, diabetologists, researchers, hospital practitioners and other health professionals working on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases. It will address overweight, metabolic disorders, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, cardio-metabolic complications and new therapeutic approaches.
Participants will present scientific advances, recent recommendations and prevention strategies, and discuss clinical practice to improve patient care in Algeria. The event offers an exchange between national and international experts on research, continuing training, medical innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Speakers will also focus on early screening, nutritional support, therapeutic education and comprehensive patient care.
